Snowmobiling is usually our primary means of transportation over ground except in late summer months. We reach our camp site from town by snowmobile. Our expedition members normally travel in a komitek which is a wooden sled pulled behind a snowmobile. The komitek has a wooden cabin affectionately called the "popemobile" where people can sit on thick foam mattresses and are protected from the wind.
