
Pond Inlet - Nunavut
Surrounded by mountain ranges, glaciers, ice caves and the diverse the floe edge habitat, Pond Inlet provides access to any number of Arctic Adventures. A predominantly Inuit community, Pond Inlet boasts a population of just over a thousand, with nearby archeological sites evidencing settlements stretching back many hundreds of years before white explorers first settled the area in 1818. A modern hamlet with a deep connection to its past, Pond Inlet provides an excellent launch point for expeditions throughout Lancaster Sound, including nearby Sirmilik National Park.
