Lyon Inlet - Nunavut
Rich in wildlife, this remote area in the southwestern Foxe Basin is home to a significant population of Polar Bears, Walrus, Narwhal, Beluga and Bowhead Whales, as well as a notable concentration of Arctic shorebirds, including almost a third of the world's Thayer's gulls. Because of the region's formidable and capricious summer ice, Lyon Inlet remain one of the least-known corners of the Canadian Arctic. With experience across the Arctic stretching back more than a decade, Arctic Kingdom makes this area accessible, allowing modern adventurers to experience the pristine wonder of this remote land.
