Resolute - Nunavut
The transport center for mining, tourism and scientific research in the High Arctic, Resolute boasts a small airport, providing scheduled flights to other cities in Nunavut as well as private flights throughout the region. With a population just over two hundred, this remote hamlet on Conwallis Island is one of Canada's northernmost settlements, and one of the coldest inhabited places in the world.
