Also on loan from Toronto based George Brown College Chef School, Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism, Mario brings an additional European flair to the Arctic Kingdom team.
Swiss born with an Italian name, Mario completed his apprenticeship in Interlaken Switzerland. Fueling his desire to travel, Mario left Switzerland for Canada in 1973 where he seasoned his experience (no pun intended) while at many landmark hotels and restaurants in Ontario, Canada. Mario has been a chef professor with George Brown College since 1986 and through the years has taught leading edge culinary techniques to 1000's of students and apprentices, many who have become industry leaders in Canada.
In addition to his culinary skills, Mario is also a self-taught mechanic, an avid snowmobiler and down-hill skier.
